| | Claire Crowley, born and raised in Rome. Daughter of a boxer/stuntman she spent a lot of her childhood sitting on the Via Veneto watching her parent's Dolce Vita Crowd in and out of the Café de Paris. The casual but totally studied individual look of those days was what fascinated her most and what has remained the foundation of her style.
“I have has always had a passion for coats and jackets, considering them that special touch, the ribbon on the parcel to whatever one's wearing underneath. I wanted a coat that was just as important when worn open, as when buttoned up; a coat that really gave that feeling of being well dressed even if just out for cappuccino at the local bar or whether at an important business lunch.”
After many years of working in styling for advertising and after a break raising her three boys while choosing and customizing outfits for her friends, she came up with her first line of coats and jackets in September 2004 called KCC Roma.
The starting point was the lining. It had to be inspiring, sometimes totally overruling the simplicity of the outside fabric, often totally unexpected. All of this researched and packaged in the perfect environment: Italy.
KCC Roma is now sold in exclusive boutiques around the world.
